‘Diary Of A Mad Band’-DVD By Down Releasing On 11th October

August 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Renowned heavy metal music record label, Roadrunner Records, is all set to release “Diary Of A Mad Band”, the DVD from DOWN on the 11th of October. This highly anticipated DVD is being released in France.
This famous New Orleans band is not a stranger to the metal world and features some heavyweights of the genre. The band comprises of “CORROSION OF CONFORMITY’ guitarist / vocalist Pepper Keenan, bassist Rex Brown (Ex-; “PANTERA’), drummer Jimmy Bower (”EYEHATEGOD’, “SUPERJOINT RITUAL’ guitarist), guitarist Kirk Windstein (”CROWBAR’) and the lineup is completed by the charismatic Philip Anselmo (”SUPERJOINT RITUAL’, ex-”PANTERA’).
It is also anticipated that the DVD would be released in the USA on the 5th of October. This DVD will contain video - footage of DOWN out on a rampage at their first ever European tour. This is going to be a very special DVD collection for any metal lover and has a total of more than 2 hours of video material that’s shot live. The DVD would also contain a complete never –before - released performance by DOWN.
Windstein, guitarist of the band had stated about its release in an interview last month. He said that broadly speaking; the DVD is like the band’s 2006 reunion tour set in a chronological order. The DVD kick starts Hamburg, Germany and then rolls on the next destination.
