ganOct 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The controversy surrounding the racy pictures of “Glee” cast members which would be part of the upcoming issue of a leading men’s magazine continues to rage on. The pictures which show “Glee” stars Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele striking suggestive poses in skimpy outfits, has generated an extensive stir with many regular viewers of the show slamming the pictures saying that it is contradictory to the theme of the Fox TV musical.

In the wake of the huge controversy that the risque photos have sparked, actress Dianna Agron responded to it by saying that the intention of the photoshoot was never to hurt any ones’ feeling while adding that if anybody has taken offense at the pictures then she is extremely sorry. Although Dianna Agron has expressed her apology for the racy pictures, her brother Jason Agron feels otherwise who has said in a recent interview that there is nothing wrong with the photos. Describing the not-so-flattering comments that the pictures has received as ‘outrageous,’ Jason Agron further goes on to say that he has full faith in his sister that she would ‘never take inappropriate pictures.’

The Parents Television Council has lashed out at the controversial pictures describing the photoshoot ‘borders on pedophilia.’ A statement released by the Parents Television Council further goes on to say that it is disturbing that the GQ magazine is ’sexualizing the actresses’ who edge the role of high school students in the Fox television series. Meanwhile, GQ’s editor-in-chief, Jim Nelson has responded to the criticism by saying that the council ’should learn to divide reality from fantasy.’
