Diane Lane portrays the character of Penny Chenery in the movie ‘Secretariat’

In the movie, she plays a housewife who also raises horses along with her family in Virginia. And the movie is set in those times when there used to be very few woman in the racing business.
It is very hard to be a working professional and manage a family as well, for a woman and Diane Lane enacts the role to brilliance.
The racing business had a boom time in the years 1972 and 1973. And the producers of the movie Secretariat hope to recreate those times for all those who weren’t around at that time to experience the thrill of racing.
However there are some critics to the movie who say that it is very hard to judge the level of imagination and truthfulness in the movie. Some critics who had the glorious to view the movie have said that the producers and the scriptwriters of the movie have taken a lot of liberties with the actual story.
The movie is set to be released on Friday and it remains to be seen if it would set the box office on fire or not.
