Colombo, June 4 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, who has not gone for the International India Film Academy (IIFA) awards ceremony here this year, is being missed by actress Dia Mirza.

“Big B’s presence is surely missed at the IIFA awards. Not just because of his charismatic personality, also because he is the brand ambassador of IIFA and his speeches are thought provoking,” Dia told IANS.

This year entire Bachchan clan has given IIFA awards a miss at a time when southern film fraternity has threatened to boycott those who will attend the event in the island country.

When Sherlyn refused to take off her glares

Item-girl Sherlyn Chopra makes sure that whenever she is in front of camera, her make-up is just right. So while posing for the shutterbugs here at the IIFA green carpet, she refused to take off her glares.

“Guys I haven’t done my eye-makeup, so won’t take them off,” said Sherlyn.

Dressed in a coral blue spaghetti top and blue jeans, the actress was all set to beat the Sri Lankan heat.
