Dharma Productions Plans New Projects
June 3rd, 2010 - 8:09 pm ICT by Sampurn WireJune 3, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is all set to treat it’s audiences with the new lines from the movies soon. The production house was set up by Yash Johar, Karan’s father, in 1976.
The Dharma Productions can be attributed with some of the biggest blockbusters of the Indian film industry. Right from Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha starrer Dostana in 1980 to the modern Dostana of 2008, which starred Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham, the movies have been huge hits at the box office.
Even this year, Dharma is expected to rule the box office with the release of I Hate Luv Storys, which is scheduled for a July release . The movie is already creating a buzz due to the sizzling chemistry between Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan.
Similarly, Love You Maa, which is a remake of the Julia Roberts starrer Stepmom, has generated interest for its star cast which includes Kareena Kapoor, Kajol and Arjun Rampal.
But that’s not all! Karan Johar has now declared that the month ahead will be full of decisions for his company. He verbalised his feelings In a very cheery mood, stating that he loves the ambience of his company, it’s full of loyalists. Just this afternoon, he twitted saying, “Exciting projects are being planned at Dharma. I will keep you guys posted and make the first announcement on Twitter.”
With the quality and variety of cinema which Dharma offers, the Indian audiences would surely wait for the announcements promised by Karan.
