Dhanush-Selvaraghavan Back With ‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’

October 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The brothers are back in action, this time with a romantic drama. Previously, the duo had delivered some of the best movies like ‘Kadhal Kondein’ and ‘Pudhu Pettai’. Now they are back together working for ‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’. Earlier, the film was supposed to have Karthi and Sandhya in lead roles and didn’t take off as Selva started working on his big project ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’.
Since the film is produced by the home banner of Dhanush-Selvaraghavan, they have decided to work together and Andrea has been signed to star opposite him in female lead role.
The film went on the floors two months back and was stalled since Dhanush was occupied with three projects: ‘Uthama Puthiran’, ‘Maappilai’ and ‘Aadukalam’. Now as the actor has completed shooting for these films, he has commenced the second schedule.
‘Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ is about a married couple and their problems. The film’s tag line is ‘Being single is bliss’ and it implies that Selvaraghavan might have added his life experiences in this movie.
G.V. Prakash has streaked success in Selvaraghavan’s ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ and the music director has already completed tuning melodies for this film.
Selvaraghavan’s most favorite Ramji is handling cinematography and editing is being done by Kola Bhaskar.
