Nov. 9 (THIANDIAN NEWS) The seventh episode of the fourth season of “Dexter“, that aired on Nov. 9, is titled “Slack Tide.” It is in no way a preview of what is to come, however, so any viewer anticipating a rather slack episode of the escapades of the serial killer with a mission, is likely to be disappointed. In this episode, we see Dexter zeroing in on his latest victim, a famous photographer. At the same time, he attempts to strike a balance between his personal and professional life while trying to keep his secret identity and missions under wraps.

Episode four of the seventh season sees Dexter getting whiff of a new killer in town. The Miami police uncovers evidence in a number of homicide cases, all of which point to a well known photographer. In his bid to take the law in his own hands, Dexter sets about to take his personal revenge on the man who is in no way linked to him. The photographer is believed to be raping and then murdering young unregistered models. He incurs the full force of Dexter’s wrath when he makes some cruel remarks to Deb, on the first day that she is back at work.

As Dexter tries to fulfill his mission of purging the world of evil, he also tries to understand what it would take him to become a model father. He turns to Arthur for advice, although he knows that he is not the ideal person, not unlike Dexter and his father Harry before him. Meanwhile, Debra shows a revived interest in the shady past of her father’s life. All in all, the show was absolutely satisfying, the personal-professional combat giving a new edge.
