Dec 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The loyal fans of “Dexter” season 5 were waiting with bated breathe to watch the recent development in the plot. Last night the Showtime audience watched the season finale of “Dexter” where all the mysteries were resolved, loose ends were tied up. However, the season did not end on a happy note as like every time, Dexter is left all alone as Lumen leaves him. The episode was subtitled as “The Big One” and it was directed by Steve Shill. The interesting story was written by Chip Johannessen & Manny Coto.

It seems that Jordan Chase knows all the weaknesses of Dexter and hence he kidnaps Lumen to get the protagonist. In the last episode the audience saw how Jordan had set a trap for Lumen to get hold of Dexter. However, last night the audience saw Dexter preparing his kill tools before he goes out to find Jordan and save Lumen. Harry comes to see Dexter and warns him about the impending danger. He also reminds Dexter that last time when the latter chased a killer without any prior planning, he lost his wife Rita.

However, Dexter’s love for Lumen becomes evident when he says that she has become a part of his life and he would not let her die. Dexter finds out the place where Jordan kept Lumen. However, Deb comes close to identifying Dexter but he manages to hide his face. On the other hand, Lumen tries to murder Jordan but in the end, she sympathizes with her victim and leaves him. Investigator Quinn is the main suspect of Liddy’s murder, however, Dexter manages to save him from law.
