Dexter Moves On!

October 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Everybody loves Julia Stiles, especially when she plays a possible love interest to the recently bereaved Dexter. Rita (Dexter’s wife) dies at the finale of last season and now Dexter is coping with the loss. Recently we saw Dexter back in action when he killed a serial killer and rescued a woman. Julia Stiles plays the role of Lumen the new mysterious woman in Dexter’s life.
In a recent interview, Julia Stiles got candid about her character in Dexter. Lumen (Julia Stiles) comes into Dexter’s life under mysterious circumstances and we hope to get more insight into her character’s history as the series progresses. Lumen saw Dexter killing Boyd Fowler and it is pretty evident that she was held captive by Boyd.
Julia clarified that her character Lumen is not a replacement for Rita (Julie Benz) and the relationship between Lumen and Dexter is pretty unconventional. The actress told us that Lumen and Dexter will play important roles in healing each other.
The actress also informed us that her character has a disturbing secret in her past that will not be uncovered anytime soon. Although Julia did not confirm if Lumen and Dexter will eventually fall in love but they will certainly go through a relationship. Let us see how the Season 5 of Dexter turns out.
