London, Feb 25 (ANI): Cheryl Cole is making up her mind to remove the “Mrs C” tattoo from the back of her neck.

The 26-year-old singer is believed to have told pals that she wants the inking, a tribute to hubby Ashley, removed “as a matter of urgency”.

Cheryl had unveiled the tattoo in November 2007 at Girls Aloud band-mate Kimberley Walsh’s 26th birthday bash.

But only two months later, allegations of the Chelsea star, 29, romping with hairdresser Aimee Walton, 24 had surfaced.

Now Cheryl is preparing to dish out 2,000 pounds to have the tattoo lasered off a top clinic in Los Angeles.

The body art removal will take nearly ten sessions, and she will have to wait up to six weeks between each session.

“Cheryl regrets having the tattoo done in the first place,” the Sun quoted a pal, as saying.

The insider added: “As far as she’s concerned, there’s no going back and she wants to remove any trace of Ashley as soon as possible.

“She knows that having the tattoo removed will be painful.

“But she doesn’t want to be reminded of her cheating ex every time she turns her back to the mirror.

“As soon as she has a gap in her schedule, she’s going to start having the laser treatments.” (ANI)
