Dev Anand gets nostalgic at Taj (Movie Snippets)
May 24th, 2011 - 7:18 pm ICT by IANS
New Delhi, May 24 (IANS) Legendary actor Dev Anand recently paid a visit to the iconic Taj by the seaface in Mumbai and it reminded him of the time he spent at the hotel while shooting for his films.
“Had gone to the Taj in town at the Gateway (of India) for a meeting and was wondering about the shoots I did there right from ‘Taxi Driver’ till ‘Mr Prime Minister’,” Dev Anand, 87, wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
Meanwhile, the actor is looking for a new face, who could be as good as Zeenat Aman for the modern age adaptation of his 1971 cult hit “Hare Rama Hare Krishna”. He is open to cast a girl from any part of India for the film, which will be titled “Hare Rama Hare Krishna - Aaj”

Say no to piracy, urges Onir
Filmmaker Onir is urging people not to buy pirated DVDs as he feels piracy is killing cinema.

“It’s sad when you and I watch pirated DVDs. Corruption starts within us, by buying pirated DVDs you are killing cinema,” he posted.

Actress-businesswoman Preity Zinta is drained after constantly travelling with her Indian Premier League team Kings XI Punjab for more than a month. She will unwind herself for a week before starting work on movies.
“Finally back home after da whole IPL drill! Am exhausted with all da travel! Chilling 4 a week (I hope) before I start work on movies. Phew,” the 36-year-old tweeted.
Kings XI Punjab’s dreams of entering the final were shattered when they were defeated by Deccan Chargers May 21 in Dharmshala.
Preity co-owns Kings XI Punjab along with Mohit Burman of Dabur group and her former boyfriend Ness Wadia.
