Washington, December 8 (ANI): Former Destiny’s Child stars Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have put an end to a long running copyright dispute with singer Rickey Allen.
The R&B ladies reached an out of court settlement after being accused of lifting their 2004 song Cater 2 U.
“I can confirm that yes, it (the case) did settle,” Contactmusic quoted Allen’s attorney, Matthew Wildermuth, as saying.
“All of the issues have been amicably resolved and the case is going to be dismissed.
“(Allen is) excited about being able to devote time to posturing his musical career,” Wildermuth added. (ANI)
