Apr 05 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Although Kate Gosselin has tried on numerous occasions to befriend fellow “Dancing With The Stars” contestant, Pamela Anderson, it seem as though there is no possibility of the two ever becoming chummy. Pamela Anderson is making it very clear that she is not a fan of the mother from the reality television show,”Jon and Kate Plus Eight.”

According to one source, who told Life and Style magazine the two girls will most likely never be friends, “Pam can’t stand Kate, Kate thinks it will help her career, so she’s trying to be all palsy-walsy with Pam,” the source said. “Kate thinks they have a lot in common because their private lives have been tabloid fodder for years and they’ve both had reality shows.” MSNBC.COM reported that Pamela Anderson questions Kate’s motives for being so friendly with her.

Although the representatives from the show deny that there is any such high school mentality going on, Judge Carrie Ann Inaba did admit that Gosslin will have a hard time making many friends on the set of the reality dance show, and may not be very popular with a lot of viewers either. “The night they announced the cast, I was tweeting along with it, and as they announced Kate, there was the most negative feedback,” she told Life & Style. “It was so unfortunate. I think everybody just needs to give her a chance, just like everybody else.” Despite the fact that she has not gotten rave reviews from the judges, it is believed that Kate has a decent enough fan base to keep her on the show for a couple more weeks. It is very unlikely, however, that Pamela will warm up to her in that time. “Pam’s in this for Pam and Kate needs to realize that,” the insider said. “There’s little chance of them hanging out together once the show is over.”
