May 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The sixth season of “Desperate Housewives” drew to a close on Sunday, May 17. Critics are of the opinion that the last episode was, in fact, better than most of the other episodes that had been aired in this season. In fact, some of the critics would even go so far as to say that the finale episode of the season was, in fact, the best among all that had been aired so far. In fact, in cannot be denied that the finale episode of the season is, actually, one of the best, with a storyline that was way more engaging than many of the earlier ones, and a delightful twist that set up the premise for the upcoming season.

In the finale episode, the viewers were treated to a lot of action and drama, a welcome change, no doubt, from the rather insipid platter that were being served for quite some time in the series. The episode showed a baby being delivered by Lynette, and that too in rather trying circumstances, as she goes into labor while she is still in Edie’s place. Some of the mysteries end, but some new ones arise, the most arresting one having to do something with switched children.

With the mention of this new mystery, therefore, the show sets the premise for the next season, and has naturally left the audience wondering which one of the characters would turn out to be the switched child. Moreover, the episode, entitled “I Guess This Is Goodbye”, also introduces certain new characters, who would possibly be appearing again in the next season.
