Oct 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The episode 5 of the sixth season of the popular American comedy drama ‘Desperate Housewives‘ was aired yesterday in ABC has been immensely enjoyed by all its fans. The episode which was titled ‘Everybody Ought to Have a Maid’ received huge viewership. The episode sees the character of Susan and Katherine coming together and having a huge fight over Mike and Bree thinking about her affair with Karl after being castigated by a hotel maid. The Episode also witnesses Gaby trying desperately to prove that she is a perfect and responsible mother after Juanita ’s party is spoiled.

Desperate Housewives was premiered for the very first time about five years back in the month of October 2004. Since then the television series has been highly appreciated by the viewers as well as the critics and boasts of having an ever-increasing popularity across the world. The show has its own unique style with interesting twists and turns that keeps the audiences glued to the television screens asking them for more. The show has also been hugely acclaimed as it has received many awards including the Golden Globe, Emmy and Screen Actors Guild award,which gave it widespread recognition.

The television series mainly revolves around the lives and daily experiences of a group of women as witnessed by their dead neighbor. The entire story is based on the narration of the dead neighbor Mary Alice Young narrated by Brenda Strong. It also has an interesting cast comprising of Teri Hatcher, Felicity Hoffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria Parker in the main leads.

The seemingly growing popularity of the sixth season of the series proves that the sultry housewives are here to stay for long.
