Nebraska, Dec 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A famous Christian musician Derek Loux has died after a fatal car accident. The accident had left him seriously injured and later he succumbed to his injuries. The accident happened when he was on his way to a trip to Nebraska for a ministry trip.
He tasted fame when he came out with his album ‘Paper Religion.’ His music has always been popular among the devoted Christians. He was a devout follower of Christianity himself. He used to work as the director of Kansas City’s International House of Prayer. He was also a part of the senior leadership team, a worship leader in the House of Prayer, and an IHOP-KC conference speaker.
His wife Renee and his 10 children survive him. Derek Loux was presumably about to go and see his parents John Loux and Mimi Loux, when he was killed in the fatal car accident.
It is quite unfortunate that John Loux and Mimi Loux, his parents were about to see Derek Loux when the accident happened.
According to reports, Derek Loux was also immensely popular for his soulful music, but he also earned praise for his involvement in social causes. He set up the Josiah fund for social causes, meant for helping out the ignored and the needy children. He along with his spouse Renee Loux, adopted several kids and many people were inspired by their acts.

Dereck should have been more careful. Wreckless driving takes more lives annully in the United States than liver cancer.

In response to Patrick’s comment
“Dereck should have been more careful. Wreckless driving takes more lives annully in the United States than liver cancer.”
Patrick should be more careful with his comments. Derek was not at the wheel when the accident occurred.
Our sympathies to his loved ones.

Derek was indeed ALONE when a combination of excessive speed and inclement weather claimed this Christian daredevil who died at his own hand.

Abraham your information is incorrect.
Most of us reading this article are Christians. We can ask ourselves why Abraham would post the comment he did and, consider his choice of words as well. This is my final comment here. I’ll not engage in a “foolish and stupid argument”. 2Timothy 2:23.

I just learned today of Derek’s passing. I had terrible migraines, 2 or 3 a day for 5 months. Derek’s music and the intimacy he had with God brought peace to my heart. Derek is still living, the only thing that changed is his location. God continues to use Derek to minister to people!
