Dec.24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to the latest reports, an eminent Christian musician named Derek Loux has passed away after a car accident. The musician met with a fatal car crash that left him seriously injured. The accident took place when he was on a trip in Nebraska. He used to work as the director of Kansas City’s International House of Prayer. Two years back he became famous for his album named Paper Religion. His music has always been popular among the devoted Christians. He was a devout follower of Christianity himself.

It still remains to be known what was the cause behind the accident. However, it is being assumed that the mishap took place owing to a severe snow storm that was lashing the place for some time. From the initial reports it has been revealed that the singer was in a Dodge Durango, which slid off the road. The accident took place in the early morning. As the news of his accident spread among his followers and fans, people started praying for him and his family sought moral support from others.

While Derek Loux was popular for his soulful music, he also earned accolades for his involvement in social causes. He set up the Josiah fund, meant for helping out the neglected and needy children. He along with his spouse Renee Loux, adopted several kids and many people were inspired by their acts. It is quite unfortunate that John Loux and Mimi Loux, his parents were about to see Derek Loux when the accident happened.
