Melbourne, Dec 18 (ANI): Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie had attempted suicide after falling into a deep depression at a young age, according to a report.

According to National Enquirer magazine, a source revealed the Tomb Raider star had told partner Brad Pitt that she fears that her suicidal tendencies would return after learning that he had been making plans to move out on his own.

“Brad was in France checking on their chateau recently, and Angelina was in Los Angeles with the kids when she called him in a panic,” the Daily Telegraph quoted the source as saying.

“She told him, ‘When you’re not around, I get these terrible feelings. I got the same feelings when I was younger, and that’s when I tried to kill myself.’

“Angelina said, ‘I feel lost without you - like I’m being abandoned.’

“Brad quickly calmed Angelina down, telling her, ‘I’ll always be there for you and the kids. I promise,’” the source added. (ANI)
