London, Nov 3 (IANS) Actor Johnny Depp, who recently starred in “Public Enemies”, says he was born just 90 km from where the gangster he portrayed was born.
Depp claims he wore the same size trousers as gangster John Dillinger. He also visited the Indiana museum and his home, thesun.co.uk reports.
He said: “They have the suit pants he was wearing when he was taken outside the biograph. I put them on. We were pretty much the same size.”
The movie also stars Christian Bale as detective Melvin Purvis.
“Public Enemies” is a 2009 American crime film co-written and directed by Michael Mann. Set during the Great Depression, it focuses on the true story of FBI agent Melvin Purvis’s attempt to stop criminals John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Pretty Boy Floyd.
