Feb 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) With the final auditions ending this week in Denver guest Judge Victoria Beckham joined Simon, Randy and Kara to help idol hopefuls get closer to their singing dreams. First up Mark (a.k.a. Jack Black look alike) surprised them with his voice and proved he was no joke. Mario a nicotine addiction counselor sang “Jail House Rock” from Elvis and laughed his way to four no’s.

Kimberly Kerbo not only left an impression on the judges, but so did her 5 year old daughter, who of which cheered her mom on loudly when she received her golden ticket. Karaoke singer Danielle Hayes gave quite the audition when her rendition of Mellissa Ethridge “I’m the only one” takes her to Hollywood. Simon told her “This audition saved you from being broken”, meaning he believed her soul was starting to brea k from living in corporate hell. Casey James many years ago suffered a life changing motorcycle accident and was told he would never play the guitar again. Proving the medical experts wrong he is back to playing guitar again and going to Hollywood.

With day one over and day two of auditions beginning, Austin Paul a foot player from Washington did not sell his bigger than life attitude to the judges. Kenny Everett who believes he is the world’s best singer would not take no for an answer and continued singing louder all the way to the streets of Denver. Sixteen year old Ninni Nixx who flew all the way from Italy on a 14 hour flight, won the judges over with her squeaky little voice and beautiful singing voice.

Before the day ended Bikini boy entered the room to perform Achy Break Heart and left the judges speechless. Eventually each judge left the room, leaving bikini standing alone picking his seat literally.

The Denver auditions gave out 26 golden tickets to Hollywood.
