Dennis QuaidNew York, May 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It might be a doctor’s advice for one and all to avoid fast foods but not for Dennis Quaid. In fact the actor told the media that it was the bliss of fast food that made him put on 35 pounds for his role play as Bill Clinton in HBO’s “The Special Relationship”. Reportedly, Dennis Quaid visited Mc Donald’s on a regular basis and followed the routine like a regular workout programme. Only this time it was meant for no shedding but putting on extra flab.

HBO shall air “The Special Relationship” on May 29th which offers a sharp insight into the lives of Ex-British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his relation with the Ex-American President Bill Clinton. It also delves in deep to portray how these two leaders confronted their own problems in their life which still remains an unknown story to many viewers.

When asked about his role in The Special Relationship, the actor told the media that he might have gone for a tailored suit that would have enhanced his role play as Bill Clinton but he refrained from doing so. He believes that every character deserves a great deal of attention and one has to go a little odd way to make sure that perfection is achieved. As a matter of fact, the actor sported a wig and even went ahead to shave off his eyebrows which according to him is the second best thing that he enjoyed beside eating Chicken Nuggets at the Mc Donald’s. “The Special Relationship” shall witness Michael Sheen portraying the role of Tony Blair alongside Helen McCrory, who plays his better half Cherie Blair. In the role of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Hope Davis graces the screen beside Dennis Quaid.
