Dennis Quaid all set to play Bill Clinton in ‘The Special Relationship’

Dennis Quaid Los Angeles, May 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dennis Quaid is all set to play Bill Clinton in the movie “The Special Relationship.” The movie offers an insight into the “special” relationship that was present between former president Bill Clinton and Britain’s former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The preparation for the role meant that Dennis had to eat a lot of junk food to put on that extra flab required to play the role of the former president. Dennis put on a whooping 35 pounds to enact the character of ‘Bill Clinton’ in the movie. The movie would be aired by HBO on the 29th of May.

The movie also brings on board Michael Sheen, who is going to essay the role of Britain’s former Prime Minister - Tony Blair. Hope Davies would play the wife of Dennis Quaid in the movie. And Helen McCrory would play Tony Blair’s wife Cherie Blair.

HBO hopes to bring to its viewers that area of their personalities that the common man doesn’t know about. The movie delves deep into their lives and the mundane office routines. When questioned about his role in the movie, Dennis said that he believes that he achieved perfection with his role of the former president, even though he refrained from wearing tailored suits.
