Los Angeles, Jan 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems Dennis Hopper just wanted his art collection to remain in his gallery only when he was alive.

Concerned that there is no way that his children will be able to divide his collection amongst themselves, Hopper indicated that when he was no more, his collection art collection should be sold off and the proceeds shared among his children.

That is exactly what is going to take place on the 11th and 12th day of January. The auction is going to be carried out by Christie’s Auction House and among the things that will be offered for sale are his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, some of the posters of the movies that he made, most of the paintings are the arts that he acquired while he was living and the script of the movie, ‘Easy Rider’. The script which is 158 pages long is unbound and it has the handwriting of Hopper on it.

However his children will still get to keep some of the paintings. They will keep his own paintings, pictures and most of the things that connects them to their father.

Hopper died last year at the age of 74 years after a battle with cancer.
