Los Angeles, Jan 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American actor, Dennis Hopper, who is still remembered for his outstanding role in the flick “Easy Rider” is reportedly spending the final days of his life. Reports indicated that the actor, who is undergoing chemotherapy sessions has decided to divorce his wife, Victoria Duffy Hopper. As per the reports, the actor has filed a divorce suit against his wife as they were ‘having trouble’ on different issues.

Though the actor has reportedly filed a divorce case against his wife, they are still sharing the same house. It has been indicated by the sources that they would get separated once the housing arrangements are completed. Some sources close to the actor said that Dennis Hopper wants his children and close friends to be with him on his last days. It was also stated that the actor has desired for complete peace and silence.

Some reports indicate that Dennis Hopper has filed the divorce petition in a Los Angeles court and has demanded joint physical as well as legal custody of their daughter, Galen [age 6 years]. News of Dennis Hopper’s decision to end the marriage has surprised many people as the actor is presently battling with the deadly disease, cancer. According to the reports, Dennis Hopper indicated that some ‘irreconcilable differences’ in their relation has made him to take such a strong decision almost after fourteen years of their marriage. The actor, who wants to live a peaceful life also indicated that he intend to provide spousal support to his wife, yet have not commented anything on the property division.
