Dennis Hopper Rushed To Hospital After Complaining Of Ailments

New York, Oct 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, it has been brought to light that the talented Hollywood actor/ director Dennis Hopper has been hospitalized. The news has been confirmed by his publicist, Sheila Feren, who has stated that the 73 year old actor is presently undergoing treatment at a medical center in New York.
It has been stated that the acclaimed actor of such screen ventures like “Speed,” “Apocalypse Now” and “Easy Rider” had to be rushed to the hospital after he was found complaining of physical discomforts like a severe stomach ache. Recent updates from his front seems to indicate that he is presently being diagnosed for flu-like symptoms.
Th actor was in New York, to promote his television show called “Crash”. The sudden deterioration in his general health condition and the subsequent dash to the hospital, forced upon Hopper, a few cancellations of interviews and promotional campaigns, that had been in the pipeline.
According to the reports of the Entertainment Tonight (ET), at the time of his admission to the hospital, the actor was reportedly put on oxygen, as he was seen wearing an oxygen mask. The ET also states that Hopper had to be rushed to the Manhattan hospital in an ambulance, and while he was taken to the emergency room in the hospital premises, he was seen fitted with quite a number of tubes.
The incident is supposed to have occurred on the Wednesday afternoon, while the veteran actor was on a promotional campaign for “Crash.” He was supposed to make an appearance at the “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” which has been shelved for now.
