Dennis Hopper losing his battle against cancer

California, Jan 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) News about the former actor Dennis Hopper is grim. The star is slowing losing his battle against prostrate cancer. The 73-year-old actor Dennis Hopper is now terminally ill. He has been stricken with prostate cancer since 2002. He notified the public and his fans about his condition last October when he underwent a special program at the University of Southern California. The Easy Rider veteran had revealed his struggle with the illness, after he was admitted to hospital suffering from “severe flu-like symptoms.”
However now the doctors have got no hope left about his condition as his cancer has now spread to his bones. And they have also warned Hopper that his disease is now incurable. So now Dennis Hopper is slowly losing his valiant battle against cancer that he had been fighting since the last 9 years.
Till last year, Dennis Hopper was well enough to act and was featured in the series Crash. He also acted in the movie Alpha and Omega with Justin Long and Christina Ricci.
Dennis Lee Hopper was born on May 17, 1936. He is an American actor, filmmaker and artist. He made his television debut in 1955, and then appeared in two films featuring James Dean, Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and Giant (1956).
