Los Angeles, Apr 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Hollywood actress Demi Moore says that she has gotten rid of the body obsession craze that she used to have years ago. However now she can’t take it lightly when she read media reports about how much she has ‘supposedly’ spent on cosmetic surgery. She says that the constant speculation about her cosmetic surgical procedures hurts her. Recently one of the magazines had reported that she had $300,000 worth of cosmetic procedures of her face and figure, in an apparent bid to maintain a youthful look.

She says that she can’t deny that she had some cosmetic procedures in the past, but she never spend so much money on them, as is reported in the media. She also clarified that she never had any procedure done on her face at all.

Demi Moore says that, “I have had something done but it’s not on my face. It (the speculation) feels like schoolyard name-calling a lot of the time. It hurts. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery. I had an extreme obsession with my body. I made it measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over. But it only happened when I stopped trying to control it. At the end of the day, this kind of obsession is pointless and meaningless.”
