Demi Moore donates $100,000 to shelter for kids
December 30th, 2009 - 1:41 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )London, Dec 30 (IANS) Hollywood actress Demi Moore proved her generosity recently by donating $100,000 to a California-based shelter that burnt down in a devastating fire earlier this month.
The Southwest Community Centre in Santa Ana helped poor children and needy seniors until it was destroyed Dec 15 after a suspected electrical fault.
Hollywood.com reports that after learning about the tragedy, Moore wrote a cheque to the centre to help replace crates of food and gifts that were lost in the blaze.
