Jan 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Demi Lovato might not have been able to remain present at the recent People’s Choice Awards, but this Disney Channel star wants all her fans to know how much she appreciates their love and support. Demi Lovato, spoke out to her fans for the first time since she was admitted to rehab last year. She is in all praises of her fans, and thanked them immensely for being beside her at the time she was admitted to the rehab, where she was battling physical and mental issues.

This 18-year-old singer-actress checked into a treatment center in October last year, while she was on a South America tour. She was admitted to the treatment center to address emotional as well as physical issues. As the medical investigations went on, it slowly emerged that one of her co-dancers, Alex Welch had accused her of a vehement quarrel that took place between both of them because of some misunderstanding that took place on a plane. Two months later, in December, a legal dispute with Alex Welch was settled. All through this time, the star remained in the rehab, getting treatment for the troubles she went through. She was absent at the recent People’s Choice Awards. However, even from the rehab, she did not forget to thank her fans for voting for her in the People’s Choice Awards as well as placing her on top of the Hot Hits Hottest Teen Stars of 2010 list.

Demi Lovato wrote on her official Facebook page that she wishes to thank all the friends and fans who voted for her, making sure that her fans know how thankful she is for all their love, support and prayers during the difficult time. She thanks all her fans for standing beside her through her tough times.
