Demi Lovato quits Twitter after controversy
January 24th, 2012 - 12:47 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Jan 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Demi Lovato is quitting the popular microblogging and social networking site Twitter after a controversy. It seems that she finally learned that it is not prudent to speak your mind always.
The nineteen years old singer upset her fans when she tweeted that, “Twitter break. It’s for the best actually. Who allows me to have this thing anyways?!!! I just get myself in trouble! Haha. Anyway… BYE!”
Prior to this, she has spoken her mind many times on Twitter and they have in turn sparked some outrages too. Her recent controversial tweets were “God just keeps throwing crap my way and I get SO angry with him”?
She also tweeted that, “The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man”, which was in reference to her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and in no time, he also tweeted a reply, which needless to say wasn’t a very comfortable situation for Demi. Recently she had also tweeted “A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left.” Which was originally a quote from Marilyn Monroe. It seems that her love life is in great trouble so it is really a wise step to set it in order.
