Nov 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Earlier this week the media outlets were abuzz with the news that “Camp Rock” star Demi Lovato has said goodbye to Twitter. However, recently a reputed media source reported that the American actress has entered rehab for emotional and “psychological” treatment. The Disney star has reportedly canceled her tour with Jonas Brothers for her treatment.

Demi Lovato’s spokesman also confirmed the news saying that the 18-year-old singer has entered rehab for the emotional and psychological “issues” she is encountering for some time. The spokesperson said that the singer has been battling her eating disorders and self-mutilation from a long time. The actress was reportedly “bullied” in school and she has also struggled with “cutting”. The spokesperson also added that Demi Lovato has decided to take up “personal responsibility” for her actions to seek help from doctors.

The “Here We Go Again” singer has recently suffered a break up with Joe Jonas. After her split, she told a reputed media source that she should have kept her relationship private as it was not “fun” to break up a “public relationship”. She also added that from the next time she would keep her relationship “secret”. Demi Lovato’s spokesperson said that the singer regrets as she could not finish her tour with Jonas Brothers, however, she is looking forward to get back to her work in the near future. Some gossip sources are of the opinion that it was not easy for Demi Lovato to perform with her ex-boyfriend on the same stage. Demi Lovato released her first album “Don’t Forget” in 2008 which rocked the US pop chart. The beautiful singer rose to fame with Disney’s “Sonny with a Chance” and “Camp Rock”.
