Feb 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was only in 2009 when the comedian Demetri Martin became widely famous courtesy his “Important Things”, the series. The second season for the series is now back and that too with a bang. The season’s premiere itself was good enough to make a whole lot of news and going by it the show will be living up to the audience’s expectations too.

For people who did not catch up with the series last year, here is a description of what to expect. The viewers are treated to not just stand up comedy but also various kinds of sketches. Along with this you can also expect to see some very good animation with different themes. Demetri Martin not just ‘explores’ the so-called sketches.

Among his sketches is ‘Bruce the Funny Dog’ which features a mutt who has an in-born talent of always appearing in weirdly funny costumes in the worst kind of awkward situations. Fans claim that Demetri Martin is the only comedian who can pull this off successfully and that if anyone else tried, they would be seen as ‘unrealistic’. The audience have been unrelenting while talking about the show’s new season, and it looks like ‘Bruce the funny dog’ has made it to the list of many as their favorite sketch from the show.

The episode was titled ‘Attention’ and it sure did claim a lot of viewers’ attentions, who have been blogging and twittering about the show since it aired. Along with Bruce, a lot of credit goes to the ‘deadpan humor’ of the host, Demetri Martin. Some other funny sketches from the show included the ‘Henchmen’.
