Delhi youth wins ‘D3 Commando Force’ show
July 10th, 2010 - 10:29 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 10 (IANS) After surviving a month of extremely tough physical and military warfare training, Akshay Chand from Delhi was declared the winner of UTV Bindaas’ reality show “D3 Commando Force - Dadagiri against Terrorism.”
The 25-year-old beat two other finalists, Vicky Arora from Mumbai and Anurag Pratik also from Delhi, to walk away with the cash prize of Rs.10 lakh.
In the final episode, the three finalists were put through urban warfare setup where they battled to rescue the individuals held hostage by terrorists in a building.
The show, hosted by actors Vivan Bhatena and Vishal, started with 14 contestants. They were put through extremely tedious physical tasks like raids, ambushes and jungle rescue operations by trainers and ex-armymen Captain Albert Louis, Captain Kshitij Sharma and Captain Dharamveer Singh.
