Jan 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A sex scene that had been cut from the censored version of the film “Avatar” might possibly be included in the DVD version of the same. The steamy love scene between the two feline humanoids had been shot, but later on, had to be cut out from the film as the director of the film, James Cameron, wanted to keep the movie within the limits of PG-13. Other than the love scene, it has been reported, the DVD version of the film will also have some other key scenes that were not included in the film.

The sex scene inn Avatar was a rather difficult one to shoot, according to Zoe Saldana, who had assayed the role of Ney’tiri, the Na’vi woman that Sam Worthington’s Na’vi avatar falls in love with. She commented that while filming the scene, it was very important to keep in mind certain technical details, making it very hard not to hamper the natural fluidity of the scene.

Added to the technical details, Zoe Saldana admitted that they also had to keep in mind that they would not be able to move in certain directions, as it would not have kept the film in the boundaries of the PG-13 ratings. She also admitted that the shooting for those scenes included a lot of hilarious moments for herself and Sam Worthington. James Cameron himself had commented in a group interview that they had cut out some of the scenes in the film, as they did not allow the film to remain in the limits of the PG-13 rating. However, for all those who would want to find out how the Na’vis have sex, the DVD would come in handy.
