Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) What Miley Cyrus is today to the pop loving youth, Debbie Gibson was in the 1980s. The yesteryears pop princess was recently seen in a SyFy network sci fi movie Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. The movie has been panned by the critics for a number of reasons but it was a treat seeing her teaming up with her so called rival Tiffany. She recently gave an interview on the movie, her equation with Tiffany and various stages of her career. She said that it was a great experience binding with her one time colleague and working with her. When she was asked about their rivalry she said that it was more of media’s doing and the whole thing was simply blown out of proportion.

Even in the catfight scene in the recently shown flick Mega Python vs. Gatoroid body doubles were used to enact the intense fighting scenes. She said that as an actress she found working in a movie where the main characters are totally computer generated and one cannot see them while shooting a funny and enjoyable experience. The food table fight sequence was one which had her in splits. There was a scene where she had to duck under table with Tiffany and that experience was rather weird and funny for her. She advised the youngsters willing to pursue a career in showbiz that they must be versatile and hone their skills in every department.

She also said in the interview that as an actor and showbiz personality she keeps her options open. The singer-actress said she usually does not see her own movies.
