Deadpool To Be Directed By Rodriguez?

August 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): A whirlpool of rumors is being cooked up around Robert Rodriguez, the director of flicks such as Spy Kids and Sin City. It is being said that he has presently been offered an opportunity to direct a flick called Deadpool.

The movie is a Twentieth Century Fox produced X-Men franchise film starring Ryan Reynolds, who is portraying the challenging role of Deadpool. He happened to be a famous comic book based anti-hero in the hit film X-Men Origins: Wolverine last year.

Fox Studios and Rodriguez have presently reportedly moved beyond mere discussions and are now planning to take it to the next level. In spite of the obvious demise of Deadpool in Wolverine, there is noticeably some life left in this Marvel Comics anti-hero.

Rodriguez is at present working for the forthcoming Machete, of which the artificial movie trailers seen way back to 2007 as a part of the double feature Grind house. He is also busy with Predators, the sci-fi based reboot produced by him.
