‘Deadliest Catch’ captain’s son arrested for DUI

jake Seattle, Feb 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The son of the Deadliest Catch captain who died recently, has been arrested for DUI. The Washington state troopers said that Jake Harris was arrested for investigation into a case of drunken driving. Trooper Dan McDonald said that Jake Harris was arrested on Thursday night in Seattle, after the State Patrol got many calls about an erratically driven BMW on the Interstate 5.

The captain of the ‘Deadliest Catch’ was Phil Harris who recently died due to a stroke, on the 9th of February in Alaska. Jake Harris was also a part of that show as a deck hand. A State Patrol airplane showed the Washington troopers the location of the BMW that Jake was driving. Jake Harris was arrested for investigation of DUI, and also for driving with a suspended license. State Trooper McDonald also said that a car matching the description of Jake’s BMW was involved in a hit and run accident earlier on Thursday evening. A family spokesman confirmed the news of Jake Harris’ arrest. He said to the KIRO-TV that Jake Harris was booked into the King County Jail on Thursday night, but the family spokesman also added that Jake Harris was not intoxicated, and did not hit another car.
