“Deadliest Catch” All Set To Pay Tribute To Captain Phil Harris

dead1June 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Discovery Channel would be paying homage to Captain Phil Harris who passed away earlier this year after suffering from a cardiac arrest while off-loading his crab fishing vessel Cornelia Marie. The network has declared recently that a series of upcoming episodes of his show “Deadliest Catch” would be dedicated to the reality series star.

The series of episodes devoted to Captain Phil Harris would commence airing from Tuesday, June 22. The first episode of the series would include details of the stroke that the Cornelia Marie captain suffered on January 29 at St. Paul Island in Alaska. The following episodes of the reality series would showcase Phil Harris’ demise at an Anchorage medical facility as well as a crew celebration of his life in true New Orleans style.

The Discovery Network officials have further revealed that the episode which is scheduled to be aired on July 13 which has been titled ‘After the Catch’ would showcase a special homage to the reality show. In addition to this, a dedication special episode titled ‘Deadliest Catch: Captain Phil Harris Remembered’ would be aired on July 20 which includes interviews with Phil Harris’ two sons, Josh and Jake as well as fellow captains.

The remaining part of the current season of the show is going to focus on the deceased captain of Cornelia Marie which would showcase a retrospective of Phil Harris’ work during his lifetime as well as his crew members remembering him. One of the highlights of the series is expected to be the never-seen before footage of reality show star which would be aired in the upcoming episodes.
