Pete Doherty London, Dec 14 (ANI): The father of actor Mark Blanco, who died under mysterious circumstances after a tiff with rocker Pete Doherty at a bash, says has lost faith in Britain.

Toni Blanco feels “betrayed” by the failure of British police to investigate how his 30-year-old son died.

Blanco senior has spoken publicly for the first time since Mark suffered a fatal fall from a first-floor balcony in east London in December 2006.

“I can’t believe what’s happened to this country. When I came here in 1964, I fell in love with it. I never believed it would get to this situation where I now have more faith in the Spanish police,” the Daily Express quoted the 70-year-old grieved father, as saying.

Although, two Metropolitan Police investigations have found nothing concrete and a cornered labelled the death as an accident or suicide, Mark’s family and their lawyer Michael Wolkind QC believe he might have been pushed off.

Blanco’s comments come at a time when an injury biomechanics expert and a neurological expert have strongly suggested that Mark could have been murdered. (ANI)
