London, Sep 19 (IANS) Hollywood legends Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are likely to come together for director Martin Scorsese’s new gangster movie “The Irishman”.
Actor Joe Pesci is also reportedly in talks to feature in the film based on the exploits of real-life mob hitman Frank Sheeran, as chronicled in the book “I Heard You Paint Houses”.
It will recall the late war veteran’s possible involvement with the slaying of famous American union boss Jimmy Hoffa.
“If they all do team up, it will result in a rather exciting mob ensemble,” dailystar.co.uk quoted an insider as saying.
“Although De Niro and Pacino’s last film together ‘Righteous Kill’ was a disappointment to many, this could well make up for that if plans come to fruition,” the insider added.
Pacino and De Niro have previously starred in gangster movie “Heat”.
