Oct 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Superman had gotten a make-over for the new graphic novel entitled, “Superman: Earth One” which retells the story of the DC Comics super hero that they are calling their “Superman for the 21st Century”.

According to the ‘New York Post’, the new Superman bears “more of a resemblance to Robert Pattinson from the ‘Twilight’ movies than Christopher Reeve from the Superman films.” He still had his shock of black hair and muscled physique, but seems to be much broodier that the clean cut Superman of ages past.

The new Superman was drawn by Shane Davis, who is also known for drawing the Green Lantern and the Batman/Superman series. The novel is written by J. Michael Straczynski, who is known for writing Superman, and Wonder Woman as well as Babylon 5. The book is not meant to replace the Superman of old, but is merely a re-telling of the younger years of the hero’s life.
