David Tennant left red-faced when asked for I.D. proof at US audition
August 17th, 2009 - 6:11 pm ICT by ANIWashington, Aug 17 (ANI): Scottish actor David Tennant seems to have got a long way to go before he makes it in the States.
The star quit his role as the Time Lord in cult U.K. sci-fi show ‘Dr Who’ last year (09), and ventured to America in search of a new challenge.
However, the British TV star was recently left embarrassed in the U.S. after he was asked for identification at an audition.
“I was going to an audition but I couldn’t get past the security guard,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
“He asked for some I.D. (identification) but I didn’t have any - I didn’t think I’d need it,” he added. (ANI)
