Jan 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is time for double celebration for Scottish actor David Tennant. Very recently, the actor declared that he got engaged, and shortly afterwards he announced that he is soon going to become a father. With numerous celebrity couples becoming parents, David Tennant seems to be the latest to join the list. His fiancee, Georgia Morfett is pregnant with his baby. This is David Tennant’s first child and his lady love’s second child. She has a son, Tyler, 8, from a previous relationship.

Although it has just been confirmed that Georgia Morfett is expecting, the actress is believed to be into 5 months of her pregnancy. She has never named Tyler’s father publicly while sources say that the name of the person is not even mentioned on the birth certificate of the youngster. It emerged earlier this month that David Tennant and Georgia Morfett got engaged and there has also been speculations that the couple would walk down the aisle on the New Year’s day next year. Georgia Morfett, 26, and David Tennant, 39, met at the time the latter was playing the “Time Lord” in 2008, a series where she played a guest role.

Reports from a very reliable news source say that the couple are expecting the birth of the new member in spring. They have, reportedly, been keeping the news under wraps. A source close to the actor said that “David is thrilled”. Insiders say that the actor gets along brilliantly well with the actress’ eight-year-old son and he just cannot wait for the baby. It has also been reported that the friends and family members of the couple are delighted with the news.
