New York, Oct 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The big-mouthed TV show host David Letterman is now in the midst of a divorce drama, which is, said toe be worth around a whooping $300 million.

It may be recalled that David was involved in having affairs with the female cast members of his show. He was blackmailed to the tune of $2 million by another member of his show, who was subsequently arrested.

Later David tried his best to keep the whole issue under wraps but the saga kept on unfolding, with more and more interns coming forward and sharing their stories of affairs with him. David also gave an on-air apology to his wife, at her behest so as to cool down things.

In his on-air apology, David said that, “Let me tell you folks, I got my work cut out for me,” he said ruefully.

During the hour, Letterman apologized to his staff, which, he said, had been subjected to “being browbeaten and humiliated” by reporters since his revelations.

“My thanks to the staff for, once again, putting up with something stupid I’ve gotten myself involved in,” he said.

According to sources, the couple are said to be fighting over property and custody of their son Harry. Regina was humiliated and mortified that David carried on sexual relationships with a number of his female staffers – including former assistant Stephanie Birkitt, and another intern Holly Hester.
