Sep 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Last night was the elimination round of the “Dancing with the Stars” and as the co-host of the show Brooke Burke said, it came as quite a shock for the audience. The “Knight Rider” actor David Hasselhoff was the first celebrity who was dismissed from the show. Even the host Tom Bergeron after announcing the result, told to David Hasselhoff that of all the contestant who were eliminated from the show in previous seasons hosted by him, David Hasselhoff’s elimination was the “biggest surprise”.

The “Baywatch” star said that dancing in the show was a “great ride” for him but he felt bad for letting down his partner Kym Johnson as she had worked really hard for the show. However, the actor also said that his two daughters Hayley Amber and Taylor Ann urged him to take part in the contest and that they are proud to see their father in “Dancing with the Stars”. On Monday when he became the lowest scorer of the night along with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Margaret Cho, he jokingly said that it was almost like “America’s Got Talent” payback for him. On the other hand David Hasselhoff’s partner Kym Johnson said that his daughters are more upset than him.

On Monday “Dancing with the Stars” kicked off with much felicity and fanfare. David Hasselhoff performed Cha Cha Cha with his partner Kym Johnson. However, his performance could not impress the judges and the judge Bruno Tonioli said that the dance was a “potpourri of insanity”. Kurt Warner, the NFL fame expressed his disappointment at the elimination of David Hasselhoff saying that the elimination round is the “worst part” of the whole show. The remaining safe participants will perform quickstep and jive in the week’s “Dancing with the Stars”.
