Los Angeles, Sep 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to the reports, it has come to light that former “Bay Watch” star David Hasselhoff had to be rushed to the hospital on the Sunday afternoon. Revelations by various sources has come to indicate that the “America’s Got Talent” judge had a brush against alcohol poisoning, after getting engrossed in the drinking habit too much ever since the finale of the talent show came to an end.

According to a report on TMZ, Hasselhoff’s 17 year old daughter Hayley, had sounded the alarm on her father’s health, after discovering him in an extremely drunken stupor.

Upon hearing the alarm, Heyley’s mother Pamela had arrived at the scene and it was one of Pamela’s friends, who reportedly made the 911 call. Soon after, the paramedics arrived at the Hasselhoff residence and carried David away to the hospital.

It is being said that the hospital authorities were in talks to release him on the Sunday night itself, after a round of initial check-up. However, no confirmation is made available on the report.

A close source appears to have told RadarOnline.com, “It’s sad. He needs help and he’s in denial.” It is a reference to the prevalent history of substance abuse that has known to be associated with David Hasselhoff in the recent past. It is also common knowledge that he has been in constant denial about his vulnerability regarding the sensitive issue.

Over the recent few months, this has been a quite recurring event, with Hasselhoff being rushed to the hospital, after facing alcohol poisoning. This episode is a repetition of the one month that had occurred in May this year.
