London, Nov 2 (ANI): ‘Baywatch’ star David Hasselhoff has compared himself to ‘Rehab’ singer Amy Winehouse, saying that their drink addiction is “a universal problem”.
Hasselhoff, who was admitted into rehab last month with reports saying he accidentally hit a doctor during a booze binge, had also been hospitalised on two separate occasions this year, reportedly suffering from alcohol poisoning.
He now admits to having a problem with his drinking, and compares himself to Brit singer Winehouse, who is also battling addiction.
“The problem that I’ve experienced in my own life and some of the stuff that’s been documented about Amy is a universal problem,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.
“It’s an illness. You don’t wake up in the morning and decide to have this problem,” he added. (ANI)
