Nov.16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Film stars and several other celebrities have taken different steps to help the poor and the needy people. The name of famous actor David Duchovny has been added to this list after he helped a family in Illinois to get a better place to live in. He has managed time from his busy shooting schedule and has helped in the reconstruction of the home for the family of a leukemia patient. He has taken part in this renovation work of Extreme Makeover’s team to give a wonderful home to the leukemia survivor.

The last episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition showed the effort of Ty Pennington and his team to rebuild the home of a person who suffered from leukemia. The reality series of “Extreme Makeover : Home Edition” has received huge popularity among the people and has undertaken several home renovation works earlier. This episode was even more popular for the participation of David Duchovny.

David Duchovny is a renowned actor of the United States and has featured in different television series. He is remembered for “Califonification” where he plays the role of Hank Moody and in “The X-Files” where portrayed the character of Fox Mulder, a special agent appointed by FBI. Duchovny has been honored with several awards for his acting skills. He has been twice bestowed with the Golden Globe awards in his career.

In spite of having a successful professional life, the actor has to deal with several controversies and criticisms in his personal life. However, that did not prevent him from helping Ty Pennington for remodeling the home of the people suffering from leukemia.
