Just days after Thai-language newspaper Thai Rath published photographs it claimed were that of veteran Hollywood actor David Carradine hanging dead inside a closet of a Bangkok hotel room, photos of the autopsied body have also been leaked.

The new photos show a naked male torso that appears to have been cut open and then sewn back together following an autopsy, lying on what appears to be a medical examination table.

In the photo the arms of the person are crossed over the chest and a distinctive flying heart tattoo can be seen on the corps’ left chest. A less clear tattoo can be seen on the left forearm and the middle finger of the right hand has a large silver skull or face shaped ring.

In the photos, which a number of websites have now published, the crossed hands are holding what appears to be a thin leather strap.

After Thai Rath published its photos on the weekend, Mark Geragos, lawyer for David’s half-brother Keith Carradine, said the family would take legal action against any publication that re-published the Thai Rath photos.

Thaindian News has seen the photographs, displayed on one Dhaka and one Hungarian website, but in accordance with accepted journalism standards has elected not to republish them.

We are currently waiting on information from Geragos as to what action the family intends to take.

David Carradine, the 72-year-old star of Kill Bill vols., 1&2 and the 70’s television series Kung Fu was found inside a closet in his suite at the Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel about 11am last Thursday.

The dead stars family has disputed claims he committed suicide or that his death was a result of autoerotic asphyxiation.

Thailand’s Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) conducted an autopsy on the dead actor last week before the body was flown back to the US, where the Carradine family have arranged for it to be examined by high-profile forensics expert Dr. Michael Baden.
