Dave Grohl-Krist Novoselic Join Forces Once Again
October 30th, 2010 - 7:26 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkOctober 30, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Two of ‘Nirvana’s’ former band members are about to be united once again. This news comes almost 16 years after Kurt Cobain, one of Nirvana’s members had committed suicide.
Dave Grohl, who had been the drummer for the rock band along with Krist Novoselic, the bassist, will now come together for a stint with ‘Foo Fighters’, the band created by Grohl. Novoselic is likely to be included in at least one track called ‘I Should Have Known’. He will be seen playing the bass as well an accordion in it. Other details have remained extremely sketchy till date. Although Grohl has been involved with the ‘Foo Fighters’ for quite some time now, the 2007 release ‘Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace’ had been their last.
The news of Novoselic coming together with Grohl after all these years have generated a huge hype. Almost 400 searches with Krist Novoselic have been initiated on the Internet whereas the searches for Krist Novoselic and Foo Fighters together have also been at an all time high.
The searches had been prompted by the fans who did not have an inkling about the whereabouts of the bassist. He appears to have kept himself busy by playing for several other bands as well as writing for the ‘Seattle Weekly’. He also floated a political action committee which promoted election reforms. He ultimately became a published author in 2004.
The ‘Nirvana’ connection does not end here though! Butch Vig, has been roped in to produce the upcoming album. He was the one who had brought the landmark project, ‘Nevermind’ to the common people.
